Following on from our new Deputy Master’s Filofax Blogs, it is now my turn, so here goes …….

First of all the Installation and Annual Livery Service on the 3rd July was a glorious day in so many ways.

That was followed by what seemed to be just a few days of sun, interspersed by cloud and rain and now summer is nearly over and my learned Clerk, Margaret and your shiny new Master are getting together regularly to tackle the jobs at hand.

Unfortunately, whilst we are without our Hall as it is being extended and refurbished, my first Court meeting, on the 2nd October, will be held at Tallow Chandlers’ Hall.

September will see me Walk the Livery Halls with Senior, lunch with the Water Conservators and attend the Memorial Service for Canon Roy White and dine with the Modern Liveries at Wax Chandlers’ Hall.  PS to myself ….. watch the waistline ……………..
