Once again the Launderers fielded a team honed to physical imperfection for the Inter-Livery Shrove Tuesday Pancake race, with all proceeds raised from the pancake races going to the Lord Mayor’s Charities.

After a power breakfast and a rub down with the Sporting Life, the Master and  Senior ran in the Masters and Livery races with Martin, dressed as a Conductor, once again representing our Livery in the Novelty race, this year dressed in the musical Charity theme as a Conductor.

We are pleased to report that the Launderers held their own with Senior and Martin finishing solidly within the pack of runners in their categories, with the Master repeating his form of last year in the Livery races, by winning his Masters heat and coming third in the final and says he would have won it if only he had not been hampered by a lack of speed and stamina.

Our thanks to PM Martyn and Alison for the Action Shots and constant motivational cheering throughout.
