Starting at number thirty this year compared to the previous years, combined with relatively clement weather, as least until the last hundred yards or so made a huge difference ! Accompanied by Senior Warden, Kenneth Cupitt, Renter Warden, Sarah Lancaster, Past Master, David Hart and Liveryman Steve Batchelor, we completed the outgoing leg over an hour faster than in recent years but even so, we were ready for our refreshments of Champagne and sandwiches on HQS Wellington.
The huge crowds really enjoyed the show with myriad children (and adults) wanting to high-five along the way. A fabulous day enjoyed by all !!!
