In 1960 the Worshipful Company of Launderers was formally constituted. In 1963 a charitable and education trust was formed which aims to gives scholarships for the further education of people pursing studies of benefit to the laundry industry.
On Monday, 11th June Master and Wardens welcomed Philip Hodgson (Tonrose), Richard Wright (Wearwell UK), James Lincoln (Essex County Laundry) and Oliver Moore (Eastern Counties Laundries) to the Company on their admission.
