This year’s annual Worshipful Company of Launderers’ Golf Day was held at the Sundridge Park Golf Club, Bromley on Wednesday, 4th June, and there was an excellent turnout of 34 golfers, of which there were 7 Liverymen and Freeman in contention for the Launderers Cup. The competition was played on the East course, which was in superb condition.

The Deputy Master, Simon Fordham, who was one of the Launderers taking part, kindly presented the prizes. This year’s winner of the Launderers Cup was Liveryman Tim Hobday with total stableford score of 35 points, playing off a handicap of 11. In 2nd place Andrew Doyle with 33 stableford points, playing off a handicap of 8, and third was Richard Yates with a score of 28 points, playing off a handicap of 0.

The day was enjoyed by all of those who took part, and the day concluded with an excellent meal and the presentation of the prizes and raffle raising over £1,000 for the Launderers’ Benevolence Fund.
