Liveryman, Gillian Farrar, attended the Livery Schools Link to see what this City event entailed.
It was a hive of activity with stands across multiple Livery companies showcasing the skills required for their industry and career routes for entry. There were multitudes of school children enjoying engaging with Bakers, Stonemasons and many others.
The Launderers are not in a position to have a stand at the event just yet but as the Livery supports the work that other organisations in the industry, such as Textile Services Association and Guild of Cleaners & Launderers, carry out, the Livery Schools Link is a brilliant platform to showcase our fantastic industry to future launderers.
