The Annual Banquet was held at Launderers’ Hall on  Friday, 17th October,   Guests were greeted by the Pikemen and Musketeers dressed in their deremonial red uniforms adding to the theatre of the evening.

Master and Consort welcomed each guest before entering the River Room for the Reception following which the Pikemen and Musketeers triumphntly led the procession into the Banqueting Hall.

Following dinner but before the more formal part of the evening began, Consort stood up and read a poem which she had written about their fourth term as Master and Consort much to everyone’s amusement.  Then the Company’s Silver medal was presented to Lance Corporal Anrdrew Lyons for his outstanding achievements at 710 Hygiene squadron.

Master SIM and Consort together with the Deputy Master of the Glaziers were amongst the guests.

The musical element was a jazz trio from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama who were a delight and very fine musicians.

The evening was “rounded off” by Guest Speaker, Sir Alistair MacDuff, retired High Court Judge, regaling guests with amusing anecdotes from the Circuit Judge.

Master concluded the eveing by thanking all the contributors to the event and wishing everyone a safe hourney home.
