On Monday, 1st July, in the presence of The Very Reverend Andrew Nunn, Charlie Betteridge was elected Master of the Worshipful Company of Launderers. Charlie is the Company’s 64th Master.
Following the Election Court, .the Ceremony of Installation took place in the Court Room. The Evensong Service at Southwark Cathedral included an Act of Dedciation for the new Master, officiated by The Very Reverend Andrew Nunn.
Master, Wardens and guests returned to the Hall for a delicious dinner and a warm welcome to all guests.
Anna Pangbourne of Master’s charity for 2024-2025 fashion & textie children’s trust was guest speaker.
