It has always been a tradition that Livery Masters and Consorts be invited to The Palace for one of the May Garden Parties.
So yesterday ,the 12 th of May off Mrs S and I attended Sue in a nice blue frock and I in Morning Suit ,on arrival straight through. Security on to the rear lawn where tea tents surround us to feed the other 8,000 guests chosen for their contribution to Charity , welfare and armed forces . We saw our King and Queen and they worked the crowd speaking to various members of the assembled throng as you can see from my photos .
After tea we took a short trip to a local hotel for an early dinner before a trip back home a splendid day with fond memories .
