Monday evening Master was a guest at the Ravenscroft lecture held at Glaziers/Launderers Hall the subject was Transforming Glass with see-through graphics given by the UK inventor Roland Hill from Bramhall near Manchester.
He out lined how he discovered how to coat or film cover glass with a design but be able to see clearly through the opposite side .
It was explained that although a UK invention all manufacturing is done overseas , another opportunity gone overseas . What a marketing invention to be able to wrap a bus or train and advertise a product or event .
Roland explained how sad that politicians have failed British innovation and enterprise and let our expertise go overseas.
After his talk we had a lovely supper in the arches , before departing .
