International Women’s Day: Celebrating Business with Impact
Join us for an inspiring and enjoyable evening celebrating women who are creating meaningful impact through their business and leadership.
Hosted by the Worshipful Company of World Traders in partnership with Goodenough College, this annual International Women’s Day event brings together entrepreneurs, professionals and changemakers to honour the achievements of women from around the world.
Open to all, this year’s event focuses on women entrepreneurs, sharing real stories of resilience, innovation and purpose. The evening promises to be engaging and entertaining, offering inspiring talks, the chance to discover businesses from Goodenough College members, and time to talk to other attendees and the speakers themselves.
Speakers:
Asma Khan – Founder of Darjeeling Express and internationally recognised restaurateur, author and social advocate.
Shalom Lloyd MBE – Founder of Naturally Tiwa Skincare, combining sustainable beauty with women’s empowerment and health initiatives.
Melody Hossaini – Founder of inspireEngage International, a global social enterprise operating in over 100 countries.
Effi Tsournava – Founder of Vinocial Ltd, a wine marketing and brand management company. It’s a very male dominated market and she has many tales to tell!
With the emphasis on celebration, we hope to entertain you with Bollywood dancing and music, and we have some wonderful sparkling wine – Cap Classique from South Africa!
