Wednesday the 25th did not start well as our train to Lincoln was cancelled , arriving later than expected we were welcomed by our Host Alistair Mackinder of Jackson’s Workwear after an introduction to the company History we are now 7 th generation of ownership.

The travelling scholarships this year were Marty and Peter from 710 laundry squadron part of the Royal Logistics Regiment. Rebecca and Michelle from NHS Royal Oldham Laundry . After the tour of a modern high tech plant we had an interesting question and answer session before departing , sending thanks to our hosts.
