Today, I am proud to share that Sue became the youngest Freeman of the City of London at the Chamberlain’s Court in Guildhall, continuing a proud family tradition. Before the ceremony, we made a short diversion to the Savoy for an early lunch to mark the occasion.
Following the 30-minute ceremony—during which the oaths were sworn and the documents signed—we returned to Manchester. As tradition has it, the family is responsible for buying the drinks until she is no longer the youngest Freeman!
