On Friday the 17 th of April final preparations were made for our weekend , cases packed and cars and trains despatched to reach Bath by early afternoon for some 30 Launderers all keen to meet up and discuss the previous year and catch up on friendships old and new.
Starting off with drinks in the lounge at our chosen hotel , in Bath , The Bath Spa Hotel just up the road from the Holborn Museum.

After a few small, or large libations we adjourned to the Vellour Restaurant for our dinner followed by a quiz set by Sue with the winners PM Selwyn and Judith getting their gift.
Saturday 18th,  morning dawned sunny for our walking tour of Bath with Bob Andrews who not only explained all about the history based on hot springs and the Georgian achievements of various builders which ensures Baths magnificent architecture today.

Saturday evening after champagne and Canopies at 102 we boarded our bus to the Royal Crescent Hotel for dinner in the Sheridan suite with our guest Olympian Skelton gold medallist from 2010 , local Bath girl Amy Williams who detailed her preparation and winning an Olympic Gold .

We returned to our hotel via our bus for a night cap and well deserved sleep , only to meet up again soon .
