April 9 th I was invited to join the Lady Mayor for Lunch at the City of London Club in Old Broad St , London
I joined around 80 people for a three course lunch at the Club proceeded by a glass of fizz to start proceedings .
The Lady Mayor spoke of her aspirations and eluded to the current situation prior to questions , one of which asked of her influence on President Trump in the current conflicts and her advice to him , the answer was that she felt her influence would be minimal .
After lunch I proceeded to the station for the Train home
