On Tuesday 13 th of May I was off to Mercer’s Hall for a concert , it was very modern with renditions by George and the Dragon of songs by Flanders and Swann , Victoria Wood, Noel Cowerd et al , the final rendition was to include all the liveries sung to Gilbert and Sullivans I am the model of a modern major General from the Pirates of Penzance .
After a superb supper in the dining room we departed after a great evening well done the Mercer’s
