On Monday Evening I was invited to the annual lecture of the Spectacle makers at Governors hall , St Thomas Hospital.
We had talks on various health issues that we all have with, our eyes.
From cataracts to retinas and everything that can cause us problems , was covered in th o er hour or so of the four talks,
What surprised me was that the NHS performs over 600,000 cataract replacements a year and 1 in 5 of us will be affected with eye problems in our lifetime .
So check them out at least every two years as sight loss is irreversible.
