Master Sarah Lancaster, her consort Steve, and fellow Liverymen and friends including Dolly the Dog, enjoyed a super afternoon on Saturday the 23rd July. In a ‘secret’ garden by the River Thames. Hosted by the Company’s very own Honorary Chaplain, T.he Very Reverend Andrew Nunn, at his beautiful home, the Deanery of Southwark Cathedral. In true estate agent’s parlance, the Grade2 Listed house is perfectly situated between the Globe Theatre and Tate Modern in the heart of the Southbank and has wonderful views of the river and St Paul’s.
Master and fellow guests enjoyed the sumptuous hospitality of Andrew and Mark and were plied with delicious finger sandwiches, tea, and pink champagne, all within the tranquillity of this oasis and hidden from the view of the hundreds of tourists who thronged the riverside. What a lovely way to spend a balmy Saturday afternoon.
