This year we were honoured to have Timothy West CBE, beloved actor and canal barge trip raconteur, together with wife, Pru Scales, read Christmas quotations from the works of Dickens.  The Cathedral was packed for this wonderful Service with Liverymen from Worshipful Company of Launderers and guests plus members of the local community.  The Choir led by Ian Keatley, Organist and Director of Music, raised the already very high rafters of the Cathedral, with their glorious singing.  What a wonderful Service it was.

Following the Service Liverymen and their guests  returned to the Hall for a delicious supper and much cheerful Christmas conviviality !
